Shahrukh Khan to rock again on Small Screen
Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood and also the most consistent. Ever since he made his debut, SRK has always been a bankable star and his line-up of movies in 2012 is stronger than it has ever been.
Shahrukh might be garnering enough attention for his big screen ventures, but sadly the star is not so successful on the television. Finally, Shahrukh Khan has a reason to rejoice on Small Screen. Two of the TV shows that he produced for UTV Stars, seems to have struck a chord with the viewers and hence are set to make a comeback. “Live My Life” and “Up Close And Personal with PZ” will be back to scorch the small screens.
The shows are produced under Shahrukh’s production Red Chillies Idiot Box that is another wing of his home banner. The shows not only did good business due to its starry formats but also the fact that there’s a huge fan following of these as well. ‘Live My Life’ is particularly being bought back to the celluloid as there’s a huge demand from the audience.
According to Nikhil Gandhi, UTV Stars received good feedback from the youth. He added that they really want Live My Life to come back because it gave them a chance to get really close to their favourite hero or heroine. Besides, even the actors have reacted well to it; otherwise they couldn’t have extended it the way they did. Talks with all parties involved have already been initiated and they should soon be back with another season.
Both Live My Life and Up Close... have garnered good reaction. In fact, the former had to extend beyond its stipulated episodes due to public demand. We hope the second innings too would garner a similar response!
